There is a sustainability paradox that exists in the global commodities supply chain: the sustainably certified products are in high demand, the smaller producers at the bottom of this supply chain are completely marginalised from the value chain. The challenge to digitise the first mile of the supply chain requires extending the point of purchase to the point of origin and enable circular economy.
